Without a Trace - response to Internet Safety Project
This is a response to Without a Trace post at http://www.internetsafetyproject.org/ The post implies to think about digital footprints in two ways – about size and type.
Alas this ignores the importance web 2.0 thinking. The web is a read/ write web, it is create/ consume and you don’t exist in isolation.
A digital footprint is about three core bits of thinking.
- what you say about yourself
- what others say about you
- what the analysis of (your and others) data implies about you and your behaviour
In this regard size does not matter; access to you data does!
